We have had two extremely positive experiences with Coach Paul. First was a private lesson series that we did with him and my 5 year old son for soccer lessons in our backyard. We communicated some very specific things to Paul in terms of our son's soccer (and athletic) skills, some experiences he had at school with sports and a few other things. He clearly read every word and tailored everything he did with our son based on our communications. He is extremely energetic, and really knows how to relate to kids and motivate them. I really felt like he was personalizing his interactions with our son based on his needs and his own growth and situation...and that no two lessons would be the same with another kid - he would do something different with someone else depending on THEIR needs. Our son's confidence blossomed exponentially over the course of the 6 lessons, and he was so excited each Wednesday when it was a "Coach Paul" day. He always stayed longer than the lesson was supposed to be, and took the time to chat with us about what he and our son worked on that day, and how he was doing. We're likely going to sign up for a "pod" with a few other kids in the fall. Secondly, we had Coach Paul come to facilitate our son's birthday party this past weekend. I casually mentioned to him that his theme was "Super Mario Brothers". He came prepared with a whole playlist of Mario theme songs, and tweaked each game they played to be a Mario theme - for over an hour. It was incredible. He and the other coach (Coach Jack, who was great too!) even put on Mario mustaches! The kids all had a blast. Even some of the parents who were there watching commented at how great it was. Highly recommend anything with Coach Paul!!
