Pottawatomie Community Center is the St. Charles Park District's main facility at 8 North Avenue and the base for its summer day camps. Flex Camp and STC Camp for kindergarten through grade 5 meet in the surrounding Pottawatomie Park with drop-off at the center, filling days with group games, arts and crafts, science experiments, minigolf, walking field trips and weekly swimming at Swanson Pool. Regular camp hours are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm for Flex Camp and 8:00 am to 3:30 pm for the five-day STC Camp, with before and after camp care available; Flex Camp lets families pick 2 to 5 days a week. The center also hosts Little Scouts, a half-day art, music and sensory-play camp for ages 3-5 run by Pottawatomie Preschool staff. Counselors are trained in CPR and first aid, and non-resident registration is offered at a higher rate.

Google Reviews
Powered by GoogleThis is THE place to be. I can’t believe we only have three reviews about it so far. So many high quality activities for adults of all ages, including seniors. A plethora of children enrichment classes and offerings. We have enjoyed affordable yoga, dance, soccer, softball, pickle ball! There’s so much to explore and learn here. Truly, a well-run program and a great intro to preschool option as well. When we first moved here, this helped us get immersed into the community. Every new resident I welcome into the St Charles area, I direct here as their first stop. You become a St Charles resident, then head straight to the park district to get your membership card and learn about all there is to offer. Truly, this place is a blessing.
Beautiful setting and kind people
Great Community Center! I have been to several activities here provided through the park district and they have been excellent overall. Both of my kids have participated in Sports classes for young children which have been very good. They have also attended classes that is a pre pre-school style of class where they kids get to go for 1hr and do singing, art, and playtime with the parents and a teacher and that was very good as well. We have attended the Princess and Pirate River Cruise which was a lot of fun. The building has history and is a beautiful place to come see. There are nice gardens around the building and Pottawatomie park, the city pool, and golf course are all right here as well, so there is plenty to keep a family busy.
