Powered by GoogleBoom is a small organization ... who genuinely cares about the baseball development and progression of every player who wears their jersey. Coach Daniel Minor, under Scott's direction, has done an exceptional job leading the High School program in his first year, and great things will follow. If you are looking for an organization where the coaches actually train, coach and develop, even in the High School age group, take a look at Boom. These guys do what they say, and they don't oversell or overcommit. If you are looking for a family feel in the craziness that sometimes/oftentimes is Select baseball, give Boom strong consideration. Coach Daniel Minor is an exceptional teacher - particularly with the mechanics and mental side of pitching (he has legit credibility as a Pitcher). At Boom Baseball, it's not just about the money and showcasing the phenoms - if your player is willing to put in the work with a great attitude, Boom will make them better.
This talented group of coaches ignited my son’s passion for the sport. We started with a summer camp just for fun, and we keep coming back for more lessons. Special thanks to coaches we’ve worked with: Bill, Tyler, Buck, and Kenny. They are awesome!
I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to the awesome coaches who did the spring break baseball camp. Our 6 yr old, Micah, is in his first season of tball/coach pitch so we decided to give the camp a try. He absolutely loved it. He talked about how nice and patient the coaching was as well as how nice the older boys were to him. He is already asking to go back! We look forward to doing many more camps and clinics with Positive Baseball!
I took my son in to see Mace Thurman this weekend. He just moved up to kid pitch and was having serious fear of the ball issues. He was ducking from every pitch. After 30 minutes with Mace, his confidence got a huge boost. The next day he hit 2 balls off kid pitchers. Over the last 18 months we've been to Positive Baseball a few times. Every coach we've seen has been exactly that, "positive". My son is not an all-star player, but the coaches have all treated him like he was. They've all been very encouraging and I strongly believe confidence is half the game. The coaches all seem to understand that most of us just want our kids to have fun and enjoy the game...we're not looking for a boot camp for 8 year olds. This place is a 1st class operation.
Best Program for the money. They really care about your player and the game of Baseball. My son's baseball skills have doubled in just a few months. They have a team of highly dedicated coaches that work independently with each player. Thanks to Scott Leon and his team my son will have a fantastic shot at playing high school ball. Mg
