Powered by GoogleGreat recital!!! All the students played very well!!!
Waited a long time to get in touch with a potential instructor. Once the instructor called, I was basically shamed for being left-handed. She called back and left a message apologizing and saying she was wrong for discriminating against me, but I was just so turned off and disappointed I did not call back. I commend the instructor's guts to call back and try again, but I still suggest that others look elsewhere for lessons - especially if they do not conform to traditional standards. Not a good look, PCM.
The Portland Conservatory of Music is a fabulous place and wonderful organization. Every concert I have seen there has been top notch, the sound is great. They hold jazz camp for students, informative films for the public. This is a fantastic place. Wonderful people and a truly worthwhile artistic organization to support.
Poor administration. Disorganized. Instructors difficult to communicate with. Quality of lessons and programs inconsistent.
