Powered by GoogleMy son attended the summer camp a few years ago but was removed from the program without a clear explanation. I was told the boys were “not a good fit,” yet no one could provide any specific reason why. Mr. Porter stated it was due to the behavior of other students who attended the same school as my son, which felt unfair and unjustified. My son has never had any behavioral issues or been in trouble before. There appeared to be little support for African American boys, and no genuine effort was made to understand the situation. I can’t help but wonder if Chauncey Billups is aware of what truly goes on within the program that bears his name.
Exceptional group of young leaders and amazing teachers providing their students with true opportunities and development!
