Branch of the nonprofit Greater Somerset County YMCA running summer day camp for children entering grades K-11, held at Cedarbrook School, 1049 Central Avenue, Plainfield, from late June through late August. Two tracks are offered: a Summer Learning Academy wrap-around camp coordinated with the Plainfield Public School District's summer learning program, and a full-day summer camp (Camp RISE). Activities span arts and humanities and sports and games, with campers working in individual and small-group settings. Lunch and snack are included for all children and the 4Cs child-care subsidy is accepted.
