This facility is fantastic! My boys love their gym ninja program. The instructors are great, equipment is top notch and the environment is open, clean and energetic.

Pax Gymnastics has been a wonderful experience for all of my kiddos! They are encouraging and inclusive at every level. Whether the child wants to be competitive or just go for the fun of the sport, there’s a class available. The facilities are clean and updated. Every year at the showcase my kids have been proud to show off all the skills they’ve learned. Definitely worth a try if there’s interest.

We had a birthday party for our grandson that we were really looking forward to. My daughter simply stood next to him to watch him play. The manager approached her several times in a very condescending way and demanded that she get off the floor immediately or he would call the police. I got in touch with the manager (after a half hour of asking to get in touch with her) to explain the situation and she repeatedly said that the contract we signed said that parents are not allowed on the floor for any child over the age of 3. The manager then kicked all of the children off the floor so all of the kids had to stop playing. I reread the contract and it states that parents cannot use the equipment and any child over 3 will participate without a parent. My daughter was not participating in any way. She was standing next to her son who wouldn’t play without her standing next to him. We received incredibly poor customer service and continued threats. It was the most unprofessional customer service I have ever received. I have attached a photo of the contract.

I was disheartened with my experience at my son’s 4 year old birthday party. Last year we had a wonderful time so we were so excited to go again. Last year, and every other open tot time gym, all of the parent are right next to their child while they are playing in the gym. My son is 4 with special needs so I stood next to him while he was playing. I was not using any equipment. My son needs me right next to him or he will flip out. The manager came up to me and said I had to leave the floor immediately because only kids are allowed to be on the floor. When I told him I was just going to sit next to my son while he plays or he would have a meltdown, he said he would call the police. He threatened me several times. He also continued to say that I was almost 40 years old and shouldn’t be acting like this. He was extremely rude and condescending. We called the supervisor and she said the contract stated adults can’t be on the floor in any capacity. I went home and read the contract. The contract stated that adults weren’t allowed to use the equipment. I was not using any equipment, but simply standing next to my special needs son at his birthday party. Every time I take my son to tot time, parents are standing with their kids. These are toddlers. It is a much bigger liability to have one staff member on the floor with 10 toddlers. The manager then continued to tell my husband that I’m a grown woman and should not be acting this way or get so upset. My husband reiterated how it’s his birthday and that he will not play unless I’m next to him. The manager saw other kids by themselves and asked me why those kids were fine and mine wasn’t. This of course made me cry. He was so insensitive. He said I needed to cooperate, or again he would call the police and kick us out. Worst customer service I have experienced. Nobody should be treated or demeaned in this way. My son has special needs. Every child is different. He threatened to call the police several times and then kicked every child off the floor simply because I said I needed to sit next to my child. What once used to be a fun and peaceful place is no longer. Steer clear and check out the gym in Dexter. I have never been treated this way in my entire life, simply for wanting to sit next to my son at his birthday party, not touching one piece of equipment. There was no customer service and no empathy. Stay far away.

PAX is a great birthday party venue. We were able to have a fun time while watching the kids try all the different apparatuses! Climbing wall, rings, unevanbars, beam, trampoline, foam pits, and the hit of the Party the parachute! Brought the cake, and had a great time! Thank you, PAX!
