Powered by GoogleParker Co. is a fantastic place. Kelly Shoppach is a standout coach with his genuine enthusiasm, bringing that fire to every practice / lesson. He infectiously, makes everyone around him—in short, better versions of themselves. The best part is how much Shoppach truly cares about each player's growth on and off the field. He's a baseball coach and a personal life coach who's also guiding his players towards becoming an MVP in life! And don't even get me started on Shippach's knack for constantly seeking ways to improve: whether it's analyzing footage late at night, texting out encouraging messages, or coming up with creative drills that keep things fresh and exciting. He is always pushing for excellence and keeping his players engaged. Thank you Coach Shoppach. - Rich Thimason
We recently hosted a Nerf birthday party at Parker County Baseball and Softball Academy, and the experience was extremely disappointing…especially for the $200+ cost for just 8 children. From the moment we arrived, there was a complete lack of organization and customer service. When we asked about the plan, we were simply told to “go around the corner and set up” with no guidance, walkthrough, or assistance. The event appeared to be run by very young staff members who were unprepared and provided little to no support throughout the party. The condition of the facility was unacceptable. The tables were visibly dirty upon arrival. When we brought this to staff’s attention, we were handed Lysol wipes and told to clean the tables ourselves. The floors were also unclean, and the building was extremely hot and humid, making the environment uncomfortable for everyone attending. The Nerf equipment was also in poor condition, with worn-out darts that should have been replaced. Toward the end of the party, before cake was even served, the children were instructed to clean up all of the equipment themselves. While we were singing “Happy Birthday,” staff members were actively tearing down the setup and walking back and forth in front of us, which was both disruptive and unprofessional. Additionally, when we asked for the owner’s contact information to address these concerns, we were told it could not be provided. While the children still managed to have some fun, the overall experience did not meet even basic expectations for a paid event. Cleanliness, organization, and customer service should be standard at this price point, and unfortunately, none of those were delivered. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with management or ownership directly to address these concerns and discuss an appropriate resolution. At this time, we cannot recommend this venue for birthday parties.
We celebrated my son’s 10th birthday here today. The kids had a good time but it was honestly not a good set up for a birthday party. The tables are tucked off in a corner with hardly any room for adults to sit. The tables were filthy. I told the people working at the front how dirty they were and they just handed me Lysol wipes to clean them myself. They had the kids clean up the cage after the party which was not was I was expecting for over $200. When we arrived I asked what the plan would be and they just told me to go around the corner and set up with no other info provided. It was also extremely hot and humid. Everyone was covered in sweat by the time we left. I would not book this again for another party and had I known how it was going to be I would have booked elsewhere.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! My son has grown leaps and bounds coming here for hitting and pitching lessons. Everyone is so friendly and they really care about helping kids to grow. So happy we found a fun place for him to get in some extra practice!
The venue for my son's 6th birthday party fell through LAST SECOND, and Parker County Baseball SAVED THE DAY!!!!! The staff member working the front desk bravely welcomed 25+ kids in for an impromptu Nerf War birthday party and saved this stressed mama's nerves! I seriously cant say how grateful I am for this place. It was clean, safe, friendly, entertaining and made a totally FANTASTIC birthday venue. THANKNYOU!!!
