Outside Hilton Head is an outdoor outfitter running half-day nature and water camps from mid-June to mid-August. Coastal Carolina Camp (ages 7-14) meets Tuesday-Wednesday 9am-noon with crabbing, kayaking and beach exploration; Kids Waterfun Day (ages 7+) runs Thursday-Friday mornings; and Adventure Island (ages 11-17) is a Friday 8am-12:30pm marsh kayaking and island program. A short surf camp is also offered.

USCG Boat Captain Andy Kennedy did an awesome job of navigating the boat while providing a historical perspective of not only Daufuskie Island but also its surrounding area. We basically had a private tour of the creek and were given very good instructions from our tour guide, Shaun. He was very knowledgeable about the area and creatures that lived there. We saw a stingray, dolphins, and loads of birds. He made sure we were having fun the whole time and the tour itself was so peaceful and tranquil. We 100% recommend this tour to anyone who asks and we also recommend Shaun D as a very amazing tour guide.
★★★★★Lynne JuddWe highly recommend taking the 90 minute Dolphin and Nature tour that Outside Hilton Head offers. Captain Dean Hager was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Not only did he find dolphins to enjoy watching (including 2 moms and 2 calves playing), he was able to point out numerous birds of the area, including 2 bald eagles, their nest, osprey, pelican, ibis, heron, cormorant and more. He also shared some history of the area and pointed out the Harbourside Lighthouse. We would take this tour with him again!
