Just because I lived outside of there zip code I paid 20 for me and my 4 kids. But on Sunday I only paid 5. There was a line for the diving board and the water slide hardly any shade and no place to buy snacks or some type of food. The good thing about is that there is a park right next to the pool.

This is a lovely facility. However, I don’t understand the scheduling system. One person per lane, 48 hours in advance to book in this ginormous center. We lap swim wherever we vacation and have never encountered a pool that doesn’t swim 2 swimmers per lane. We can’t even get lanes at the same time or find a space for more than a 30 minute swim in these beautiful pools with this current sign up system. I understood this during Covid but this is not a welcoming experience to folks who spend every spring here and look forward to our lap swims. Please just let folks show up, share lanes and create more revenue for your community. That system worked pre COVID and it will work again. Most swimmers are more than happy to share their lane with other folks who are passionate about this sport .

This might be long?! OMG the Oro Valley Aquatic Center! 👍👍👍 I'm from out of town, an X competitive and devoted 3-4 time a week lap swimmer at home. I was in town for a week and I was dying to get in the water. I found OVAC and tried to set up an account to get on the schedule. It was frustrating because it wasn't working from my phone. On a whim I called and talked to Michelle. She went out of her way, got me logged in, signed up and on the schedule. It was heaven working out in an outdoor pool with the sun shining down. I called again and Brian set me up for an 8 AM lane. I arrived an hour early and somehow Brian squeezed me in a 7 AM slot. It was heaven again. Thank you very much Michelle, Brian and the OVAC staff. You made my vacation. Michael Beach

We went to the Oro Valley Fine Art and Wine Festival behind the Aquatic Ctr. and it was awesome! Just too hot so we didn't stay long.

The Olympic pool is amazing (50m) & they also have a smaller rec pool (25y). I’ve been swimming here for 4+ years now. Honestly the lane reservation system is super annoying (everyone thinks this as well so I’m not alone) and they often have pool closures for events for a few days at a time which can be frustrating. However - the facilities and location are amazing!
