Powered by GoogleFa is an amazing vocal coach! I’m learning far more about singing, and particularly proper technique, than I ever realized even existed. I blew out my voice about a year ago in my pop punk cover band using bad techniques, which would have kept happening if I hadn’t gotten Fa’s training. Very happy with OMA!
I started taking lessons here because I wanted to learn how to sing backup in my band. With practice and excellent instruction, I have the confidence and competence to sing backup during live performances. My instructor (Fa Saifullina) is great at breaking down concepts that I can understand as a drummer (read: basically no music theory knowledge). I highly recommend Opus to someone looking to pick up a new skill or hone their current abilities.
We have been at Opus for a couple of different things and have absolutely loved it! My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Fa for about 6 months and we adore her. She is professional, kind, personable, and a truly great teacher! Highly recommend Opus and Ms Fa!
We’ve been happy with Opus from the beginning. They were considerate matching our son with the right instructor. Fa has been a fantastic teacher, selects a variety of great music, is responsive to texts if there’s a change of plans & has provided makeup lesson options with ease. So glad we found her!
We have been working with Opus for almost 2 years now. We started with violin for my daughter with Thomas Plante. He was sooo patient and understanding of her stubbornness and goofiness. She then decided that her true instrument was piano, so we started working with Steve Perkins. Steve is amazing with her, helping her improve and balancing out her goofiness. She is doing so well with piano! Her brother was so impressed by her recital, he decided to try guitar, starting with acoustic and now doing electric. He takes lessons with Christian (I can't believe I forgot his last name!). Christian has been so patient with my son, and pushing him when he needs it, tailoring the music to songs he enjoys. I HIGHLY recommend Opus to anyone looking to learn an instrument!
