Powered by GooglePhenomenal birthday parties! Big hit with the kids. The ladies running the party were top notch, SO incredibly helpful and organized. They decorated the party room so wonderfully, helped sign everyone in, collect gifts, carry things to and from the car, and served food... besides leading the activities! Absolutely stress-free experience! Only wish we could have booked a longer time. Will absolutely be returning.
Awful management. We pulled our daughter from gymnastics classes after they failed to provide any notice to parents that they wouldn't have classes Labor Day weekend. Showed up on Saturday (2 days before Labor Day) and found dozens of other confused parents and kids wandering the parking lot. Don't waste your money here, go to Oregon Gymnastics Academy (OGA) who understands the importance of communicating with tuition paying parents.
We signed up my son here for recreational gymnastics and my son loved it so much I decided to enroll him into the preschool at the gym where he has a couple of gym sessions during each school day. It was a struggle to get my son to his regular preschool but he was always excited for gymnastics preschool days. This is definitely a top notch gymnastics program but academically very impressive as well. My son’s spelling, reading and math skills improved so much after joining their preschool. I felt like my son got individualized education catered to him. I am so thankful for the thoughtful attention and care from his teachers. I know my son felt this as well from his enthusiasm for this school.
Unfortunately, our experience with this gym has not been a positive one. My daughter attended classes there for over three years, going twice a week, but we did not see any significant improvement or even a solid grasp of basic gymnastics skills. This was surprising and disappointing, especially given the time and commitment involved. During a team screening, she was initially selected, but we chose to postpone enrolling her in the team until the following year. When we returned to enroll her, we were told she no longer qualified because she lacked the necessary foundational skills. I spoke with the owner directly, and she evaluated my daughter and confirmed this assessment. What was most frustrating was the explanation I received when I asked how a child could attend classes for so long without acquiring even the basics. The response was that recreational gymnastics is "just for fun." I found this reasoning both dismissive and unacceptable. When I compared it to swimming—where you'd naturally expect a child to learn basic skills, not just play—the owner responded that swimming is different. That kind of justification felt like a way to avoid accountability rather than address a genuine concern. Overall, I would not recommend this gym to families who are looking for a place where their children can actually learn and grow in the sport. Fun is important, but it should not come at the expense of real progress or quality instruction.
Let me start off by saying the teachers are phenomenal, and saints for teaching rambunctious toddlers. Each class has been an amazing experience, and we have no complaints after 6 months at OMEGA. We look forward to being here for a long time, my child is 4 years old and cannot wait for her weekly class. Their cost is very reasonable, and they have so many class options to choose from. The facility is clean and the classes for kids are well structured for their age.
