★Chance BrooksWent 3-0 and didn’t get an award. Director didnt want to schedule another game or anything. Kinda seemed like we were unwelcomed. We were clearly the best 16u team there. Travelled an hour from Sioux City just to win and receive laughs.. wouldn’t recommend coming here.
★S .COur son played OSA top team and as always if OSA can’t beat you from a pure basketball standpoint - their coaches and parents tell their kids to get physical. This is par for the course with organization and speaks to the level of basketball integrity and lack of discipline and athleticism they have. My son was pushed and punched in the stomach multiple times, but to his credit smiled and kept scoring. OSA charges huge fees for what? A nice uniform and not being able to compete with the “more” athletics teams.
★Melissa BroOSA which is run out of UBT makes you pay an arm and a leg to watch your kids play. They ask for parent volunteers to keep score but still make them pay to get into the tournaments or regular games. If I’m paying for my kid to be in the tournament, I shouldn’t have to pay to work at your tournament. Regular scheduled games you pay a certain price and tournament scheduled games you pay a higher price to enter. Why do parents have to pay to enter a facility? People expect to get paid when they work and when I agree to volunteer, I was told that I would get free admission for my time. You may not get it because every weekend it adds up the concessions entry fees if you have kids Grandparents. You guys are taking advantage of your community and shame on you!
★Peter MaasThe 2024 summer basketball season was purely a money grab for OSA. Playing with an incomplete roster and consistently borrowing girls from other teams was frustrating. Practice days would change abruptly, and OSA wouldn’t even communicate these changes through the coach first. Our team had a roster of six girls, and one of them showed up only twice the entire summer season. This team should never have been assembled. I would much rather have my child cut than show up with only 3-5 players and borrow teammates they don't practice with. Stay away and find another club with integrity that doesn't create teams just for the sake of money.
★★★Kate LofingMy son is in here now. His coach is great and he is in a pickup team for 1st and 2nd grade boys. It is too expensive if you don’t have your own team. We had to pay $350. If you have your own team you can get it down to $90/kid. Facility is beautiful. You have to pay to get in to watch each game. Managerial staff seems to have some communication issues but overall are very nice. Could be a 5 star easily but some bumps to iron out!”.
