Olympic Peninsula YMCA
Private
The Olympic Peninsula YMCA runs summer day camps across its Port Angeles, Sequim and Port Townsend locations, offering over 15 week-long specialty camps with morning and afternoon (partial-day) options spanning sports, arts, STEM, swimming and fitness — for example a Mini Lifeguard camp for ages 7-11. It also operates a youth overnight camp. Financial assistance is available so cost is not a barrier.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Olympic Peninsula YMCA directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleChildcare area has staff that are untrained in de-escalation skills, as they decided to reprimand my child when they are hiding under a slide or a floor mat. Staff need more training in how to de-escalate!
Great equipment and gym but terrible customer service from Kimmie at the front desk with me and other customers before and after me.
Great environment, super clean and been a member for many years . Glad they got all new equipment
Got day passes for showers after camping at national park. Two of three showers were out of commission. It would have been nice to know when we were booking.
I appreciated my work outs here as it was spacious and had everything I needed. For transparency I will say I have a nation wide membership and this is not my home location. I also didn’t not get a chance to try out their kid watch. I would certainly go again if lucky enough to be in town. People were nice and parking was easy. My only critique is their plates. Everyone would benefit from investing in new plates as there were many random ones that I noticed did not always equal in weight such as the 45lb plates. I navigated this without much trouble be locating identical brand plates, so this didn’t stop me from having a good workout. It’s my only humble suggestion and no doubt easier said then done yet I hope the local patrons get to experience new plates in the near future. Hot Tip: This is probably obvious, after crushing your workout skip the treadmill and instead go for a hike at the Olympic National Park entry point 4-5mins away! The Peabody or Living Forest trailheads are beautiful light hikes.
