The Oak Harbor Boys & Girls Club, on Whidbey Island, runs a summer camp built around weekly themes with sports, fitness, arts and crafts, LEGO robotics, music making, DJing and photography, plus tutoring, leadership development and wellness programming. Field trips include the swimming pool and the YMCA at Camp Casey, and campers can write for the Whidbey Weekly. Established in 2011, the club serves nearly 300 youth a year and is staffed by trained youth-development staff.
