I’ve known about this camp since the early/mid 1990’s. It has special meaning to me and several members of my family. I’ve kept in touch with more people I met here than people from my alma mater. Started out as a camper and then served as a CIT & lastly as a counselor (Forestry & Conservation Camp nka Camp Canopy). These photos are from a visit in June 2024. Lots of updates but I think they are for the better. A special thanks to Travis R. for being my point of contact within the permanent camp staff for coordinating my return visit. One thing I suggest is reading the camp’s history which I was able to find as a PDF on google. It was nice to know more about the history of this amazing place and how it came to be.

County GOP Committee held our spring dinner there for 125 people, (total sell out, was limited to only half capacity due to covid). What a great staff and food done very well!!! The facility is gorgeous, modern, and exceptional view of Leesville Lake. Highly recommended!!
