Absolutely beautiful Camp! Wonderful!

Both my tween and teen attended UMC camp here this year for the first time and I couldn't have been more pleased. The director and all the counselors were outstanding. The classic camp activities were part of it: hikes, connecting with nature, swimming, campfires, singing s'mores, etc. My picky eater said the food was great and especially enjoyed the salad bar. They made friends they still talk to! The camp nurse and medical staff did a good job of reaching out when there was a reaction to a bee sting. I am so pleased and can't say enough good things about our experience. Camp Aldersgate exceeded my expectations in every way.

We were invited to Camp Alabaré hosted at Camp Aldersgate. Our family has food sensitivities, and they went above and beyond to accommodate. The meals were always warm and a good variety. Some of the cabins are updated, and some of them are in working progress and rustic. Beds are camp style, nothing special. After all, you are at camp and will be so tired you won't even care. Ropes course, archery, fishing, kayak, canoeing, and hiking were some of the activities offered and were great. Beautiful outdoor chapel and amazing waterfront.

Such a pleasant place. My kids have gone here for many years now. Friendly staff and the end of camp program is now back!

The location is great. Scenery is breathtaking. I was just there for a spiritual retreat and I was very very impressed. The beauty of the sunrise here is just gorgeous. Dan, thank you for having us there. You are so awesome and you are doing a great job with the camp. Everything was easy to find. Again I want to say thank you so much and God bless you and your family.
