Private

NY Sluggers runs a summer baseball camp in the Bronx built around position-specific instruction: hitting approach and pitch recognition, catching, base running, infield and outfield technique, and pitching mechanics and arm care. The camp meets three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for four hours a day at $300 per week, so it does not cover a full workday. Founded in 2011 by former professional catcher Eladio Rodriguez, the organization also runs private lessons, travel teams and a 501(c)(3) foundation; its site notes the Sluggers Academy building is closed and programs now run at 2701 Bruner Ave and Astor Fields.
