They came to chapman elementary to help put on a play. The two instructors who came were nice but were frankly way in over their heads. They didn't have enough rehearsal time, there were no real sets, and it was just complete chaos. I don't reccomend schools using this organization for their school plays unless there's more time given for rehearsal, etc. Also the reason plays in the past have worked out so well at Chapman is because it was a highly highly collaborative process with parents helping the music teacher and the art teacher. NWCT didn't tap into any of that...thus the play was just pretty much a messm unfortunately.

Went to a fun production of The Wizard of Oz here. My son and I really enjoyed it!

We absolutely love Northwest Children’s Theater & School and keep coming back because the quality is consistently excellent. Most recently, The Wizard of Oz was fantastic. The production was polished, the actors were wonderful, and the show struck a great balance between being exciting for kids and enjoyable for adults. One thing that really sets NWCT apart is the post show experience. The actors come out into the lobby to talk with the kids, which my son absolutely loves, he talks to almost every one of them and they're all so gracious. It makes theater feel welcoming and personal. We've also seen Frog and Toad, Go, Dog. Go!, Pete the Cat, Rudolph, and The Little Prince. The Little Prince felt slower having to do with the abstraction, which would make it harder for our 3yo at the time to follow, but every other production for us has been a big hit. NWCT has become a favorite family tradition for us, and we highly recommend it to families looking for thoughtful, high quality children’s theater.

It was an amazing performance. We had such a lovely time with our family, and the staff were very friendly. The venue itself was beautiful as well.

Had an excellent experience seeing Go Dog Go with our preschool today. They were so organized getting dozens of kids and their parents and teachers seated and started the show promptly. The interaction and performance were perfect to keep our 3-5 year olds engaged. Highly highly recommend! Can't wait to go back for another show!!
