Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra (NOYO), based in Oberlin since 1969, is a regional orchestral training program for young musicians ages 8-22 drawn from Toledo to Cleveland, with faculty and coaches from Oberlin Conservatory. Its five school-year ensembles rehearse September through March, while its camps run in July and August: Summer Symphony, an orchestral camp, and Summer Winds, an intermediate wind and percussion camp for grades 5-9. NOYO partners with school music programs and allocates financial aid broadly to remove participation barriers; daily camp hours are not stated on the site.
