I have been going to this location for the past few months and never had an issue until the newest executive director came along. my oldest daughter is diagnosed with autism and with the new early spring sports i had signed her and my other child up for things they wanted to do. my oldest child who was very upset she was unable to get into gymnastics ran into the court at the very end of a class on our way out of the gym this week and instead of adressing it right away that it was an issue, the ED Nicole Flynn waited about 22 hours to call me and express her concern to then tell me, me and both of my children are banned from the gym for the next 3 months after i expressed to her multiple times already my daughter is autistic and she is not always as easy to direct as any other child. informing her as an ED of a family oriented YMCA that she seems very uneducated in children with and without autism. i am very upset by this decision made by a woman is works in a place that is supposed to support single mothers, mental health, fitness journeys and many other things that the YMCA says they stand for. unfortunately due to how she talks down to people and treats clientele that comes to this location i will no longer come back here which is very unfortunate because not only did i enjoy being there 5 days a week but my kids did too. especially the teachers in the kid zone and the front desk and even some of the staff that worked inside of the gym itself as well. hopefully Nicole will become educated on children especially ones with autism and treat the next mom better.

I love coming to my water classes in the mornings but I especially love Leanne at 10:15 on Wednesdays! She's fabulous!!!!🎉🎉 She's knowledgeable, happy, friendly and just pure joy for the full hour! I hope she gets to teach more water classes someday at our YMCA. She is a 💎 gem!!!!

This YMCA is wonderful! The facility is clean & the people are friendly. They did some very nice upgrades. The employees are always respectful & helpful. Update! With a membership, you are offered services for which the member pays. It's a disservice when all the member benefits are not given. Due to health issues swimming is imperative to my weightloss. In saying that, showering afterwards is also imperative. However, the hot water hasn't been working since last week. I asked the man at the front desk about the water this morning, "notices were sent out about the hot water"... I didn't receive a notice! I didn't find a notice on the website. This is what should've been said with sincerity to ease the frustration of members " I apologize for the inconvenience, we are working on getting the problem fixed"!!! Be honest about the situation! I appreciate honesty! I have Lupus Dry eye syndrome, etc...Showering is very important! Update The pool was very cold today! I have Raynauds, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Asthma & Chronic Spasms. I had trouble breathing while in the pool. I had chest pains. I thought it was spasms. I could do a little exercise, but i had to stop multiple times, which i dont usually fo. I became very sick & had to leave. I became very dizzy by time I got to the Women's locker room, I vomited twice. My breathing became worse when I got home. I used my inhaler & the chest pain went away. I could also breathe better. I was having an Asthma attack!!! I've never had an actual asthma attack before, never. My Lupus has been very active. The pool is my only comfort. The only place where I can exercise for a long while & it usually helps my nausea. However, not today!
