North Star Quest Camp is a five-day overnight (sleepaway) summer camp for girls and gender-expansive youth entering grades 6 through 9. Held at the Mattole Camp and Retreat on the Mattole River in Humboldt County, it pairs traditional camp activities such as swimming, art, and campfires with daily workshops and small-group discussions on topics like body image, communication, conflict resolution, peer pressure, and healthy relationships. The nonprofit camp aims to empower adolescent girls and never turns a camper away for inability to pay.
