I have had great experiences for many years with this department. They really go out of their way to help with everything from IT to getting all your changing tides forms in. Considering that I'm sure the city of Arcata does not have a generous budget for camps and programs for children, we are very lucky to have a strong department that is competent at their jobs. And they always have a smile on their face!

The Arcata Recreation Division offers several great facilities for the community and a variety of programs to meet the needs of the population. For a small town, they do a great job at trying to be inclusive and support the importance of recreation programs.
