Not up to the best big-city buffets but good. I think it's the only Chinese buffet in Humboldt. Always good selection and plenty of whatever you want. Excellent value
This multiple use center has a children's play area, playfields, senior center lunches in its kitchen, events area (many cimmunity groups use it), and Healthsport a private work out center with a pool is across the parking lot from the Community Center.
The place is actually a community center. However the main hall is booked on Fridays for jummah prayers hence it’s labeled an Islamic center too When traveling in the area at 1:30 on Friday we found it open with some Muslims waiting for the Imam (who was running late). We couldn’t wait for him so prayed and left. The next day we were passing by so thought we’d stop by check if it’s open and then pray again. It was closed. So I suppose the place only opens on Fridays? We prayed in the parking lot in front of this building and no one said anything. I saw a launchgood campaign to open a mosque in Humboldt County. The campaign abruptly ended. But we do need a mosque in this area so maybe someone should look into that?
Excellent community center in Arcata with catering kitchen, nice restrooms, ADA parking and nearby park. Also serves as sporting arena. Fun large event space.
