Powered by GoogleI’m a central NY Y member and this Y is very gross. 3x I have found feces in the showers. The showers often have flies in them, the lockers rarely seem to be cleaned because there are constantly the same dirty paper towels on the ground. Unfortunately I'm a swimmer and need to use a pool on my lunch break, but if you’re looking for a gym membership, look elsewhere!
It was so much fun I had a great time playing basketball. Also the basketball courts were very nice and the YMCA was very clean. I would like to go swimming there with my Tuesday mentor sometime that would be a lot of fun. So maybe next time we can go swimming there I haven't did that in a long time.
I went into join, but two things rubbed me the wrong way. One, they were going to charge me $36 for ONE week when the pool would be closed for that week. Second, they have a banner saying healthy living with Christian values hung next to the LQBTQ+ flag; which in the Christian Bible, speaks against. I love everyone and I don’t care what sex or what you identify as, but the hypocrisy between the two banners is wrong and it should be replaced by an American flag. Between that and the cost for someone who’s on disability, it was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.
I had my daughter do her summer camp this year at YMCA wetzel road. Nobody responds here typically unless you make a public post. They make kids use the porta potties regularly which is cleaned only once a week. Over all I would never make my child go again there! Simply waste of money !
Such a beautiful place to enjoy so many different activities. You'll be hooked. A world full of diversity and fun !! Aquatics is my joy!
