The instructors are great with the kids. They are fantastic at balancing skill development with fun. If you have a kiddo that isn't into the typical stuff, I highly recommend giving this a try.

I've been coming here for more than a year now and the membership is worth every penny. Not only have I made good friends here, but I get to hit them with swords! In all seriousness, the environment is very welcoming, it's a great workout, you meet fun people, and you get to learn about the martial traditions of Europe from a historical standpoint. They also do fitness classes and regularly go to competitions. Plus you get to carry around a sword =)
