Powered by GoogleA very pandering Christmas was absolutely hysterical! I now want to check into tickets for everything. Just a little financially challenged at the moment. I can't wait to see the next play!
I love the NTC - everything they put on is incredible. My absolute favorite are the improv comedy shows, the cast is hilarious, witty, and talented all around.
I went for the first time to see Pride and Prejudice. I was super impressed with the facility as well as the production. It's a pretty small theater, but it was clean, quaint, and really, not a bad seat in the place. (My only complaint is that some scenes were on the left or right of the stage and there was a pillar on each side that partially blocked our view, but didn't hinder our enjoyment.) The had a good selection of concessions (including alcohol) with everything priced very reasonably. I was worried about parking because we got there right before the show started, but we had no problem finding a place to park right near the theater. The production was fantastic! The set was not overly elaborate, but was just right for the size of the theater. The costumes were perfect for the genre and the actors all did well. It wasn't Broadway, but for a local theater, I was really impressed with the quality of acting, especially by the main characters. One of my favorite things was the music and script. It was classic P&P with some Bridgerton thrown in... it was delightfully clever. I'm not sure if the script was locally done, but if not, they did a great job choosing it! I will absolutely go to more productions here and would highly recommend this theater to anyone. Even if you're not a theater junkie, this place is perfect for a fun night out.
What a wonderful theater. It has such a warm feeling when you walk through the door. There are posters from all of the shows performed at this theatre, and lots of smiling faces on the many volunteers. This was our first visit to Newnan Theatre Company, and it was to see the world premiere “TO THE MOON.” What a grand production!! Even though a number of songs had to be dropped due to time, this creative cast made it work! The show was awesome! Thank you all for an amazing night of entertainment!
Show was very funny and improv type which made it even better. Location is good and prices are very reasonable!
