We're big fans of Neo Art school! I have 3 daughters - each with very different strengths and challenges, and Neo Art was a wonderful fit for all of them. They had the opportunity to explore a variety of art forms, and the team there made it possible for all of my girls to feel successful and have fun. One of my girls has a developmental disability, and the instructors adapted the projects for her, repeating instructions as needed to ensure she could express her creativity. She loved it so much that she had her birthday party there later in the year. We ended up returning several summers and joining parents night out as well. We're so grateful to have such a high caliber program that was sensitive to the unique needs of each individual kiddo. Highly recommend Neo Art school as a wonderful fit for a variety of kids - and a fun, inspiring place to create!

When I was a about 12 or 13 I had the privilege of taking private art classes with a great teacher that helped further my skills while also allowing me to pursue my own creative niches and aspirations. I always appreciated at the time that the teacher treated all the kids not like kids but as equals while still also instilling a sense of responsibility for their workspace and their tools. During class we'd having fun conversations about music and shows we liked and other favorite things with both student friends and teacher while working on a wide array of neat and ever-changing projects with the teacher always guiding us to do better and explore our passions Neo Art School is like this but for my daughter (and soon my son when he's old enough). She's a very independent person that often doesn't like to follow directions at home because she "knows best," but at Neo she's been able to explore her passions with a good balance between doing it "her way" while also learning to accept help and tips from the teacher, Sean. Sean is that great mix of being a friend and ally to kids in listening and responding to their conversations in a genuine way while also teaching them to be responsible for their workspace and tools and to explore their creative directions. It's a great mix that my daughter really, really loves. She's always is excited to drop by the studio and work on new projects and feels like a genuine part of the Neo community. We've done the regular art classes, the pottery/ceramics classes, and a lot of the summer/holiday camps and just love it! Jasmine has shown a more responsible adult side in creating her art while still just having a ton of fun as a kid in engaging art classes. I'm really happy she gets to have an experience a lot like the classes I had as a kid! Thanks Sean!

We have been attending Sean’s Thursday pottery class for over a year now. We have also attended some of the summer and holiday break events. The projects and options are amazing. My daughter looks forward to her class every week and proudly displays her projects and art all over our home. Sean is very kind and great with kids. Our daughter is very shy and he has been able to get her out of her shell and to harness her creativity in a safe space.

I sought out some artistic projects for my children during Covid times, when schools were not able to do a lot of hands-on art programs. Children had an experience previously in NYC with art made from found materials. We were lucky to find Neo art school whose program is hands-on, also using found materials, and is very creative. My daughters and a few of their friends (age 7 and 12) ) formed a group of four and have been taking classes since October 2021. Sean has designed a great program where he is able to give enough structure and guidance with materials and techniques while at the same time give children the freedom to choose their subject, scope and be led by their passion. Kids love the classes. Even though they are balancing school and sports they look forward to art with Sean every week. Sean is very committed how he runs the school. The class always has an assistant (even for four kids) and Sean maintains high standards. I feel safe leaving kids in the class and picking them up later.
