Cuyahoga Falls dance studio operating since 1953, home to the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet and a community ballet program, teaching ages 3-18 in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, pointe and stretch/strength. Summer offerings are dance classes, including a preschool class for ages 3-4 and beginner ballet for ages 5-7. Pre-professional students can perform with Ballet Excel Ohio, founded in 1975. The studio is an Ohio ACE qualified education service provider.

★★★Bri RhodesI moved my stars to three and I will explain. No one could ever argue that the dancers that come from this dance school do not dance superbly. I have witnessed the dedication and discipline the kids learn and begin to exudes. However, the problem lies with in some of the peoples character. No one wants to admit when they are wrong and hurt someone. Instead some play victim while others aide in the victim mentality. After meeting a few that left for this and other reasons I will not discuss, I just say weigh out all your options. I would hope this is not the best school and I don't think this is the worse school.

My daughter started this past summer with one of their summer camps and enjoyed it so much that she wanted to continue with A1 Ballet. Mia, the owner and her instructor, is absolutely amazing. She has a profound knowledge of ballet and is very well connected to professional ballet programs across the country. This is a true ballet school that focuses on proper fundamentals and strong foundations of dance. It’s difficult to put into words how much ballet—and Mia—have benefited our lives. My daughter struggled in larger classes due to her ADHD, but the smaller class sizes and Mia’s teaching style have made a world of difference. Every child receives individualized attention and constant correction, which keeps them engaged, focused, and genuinely learning. I truly feel like I stumbled upon something amazing and beautiful. If your daughter or son is interested in dance, I strongly encourage you to consider Excellence in Dance.

Everyone has been very friendly (employees of the studio, the owner, the other dancers, and the other parents). Her teacher, Miss Carolyn, is so fantastic. It is apparent each and every week that she really enjoys what she does and I appreciate her enthusiasm and caring nature. She teaches dance to the tiniest kiddos in a developmentally appropriate way. My daughter adores her and asks each day if it's "dance class day".
