What a special place this is! I first met Tina after requesting a tour of her studio for a summer art camp. She has curated such a beautiful, calm, warm space. I knew right away this was a serious space for learning and development. While my son is still very young, he has learned so much in his week at art camp. Tina has taught him so much and has the patience of an angel. We plan on returning in the fall to further his learning of art.

Tina Ma caters to students of all ages. I wanted to take an art class with my 6-year old son, and she accommodated both our WIDE age gap as well as our busy summer schedule. Ms. Tina introduces and demonstrates every step, using high quality materials each week: pencil shading and coloring, oil pastels, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. She takes time to individually meet each student at their level, both encouraging and challenging us to make improvements. We look forward to our 2-hour Saturdays to connect with our work and each other. BONUS: She speaks Mandarin Chinese with us, so my son learns beyond art skills!
