Both of my children began their robotics classes and competitions in third grade, just as the pandemic hit. Maria and Marcel provided incredible support to all the kids during that time. They taught the fundamentals of building an effective LEGO robot, offered invaluable guidance, and generously shared their competition experiences. They also accompanied the teams to various tournaments, leading them through intense and competitive events. Through their time at MySTEM, I’ve seen my children grow tremendously—not only in engineering thinking, coding, and creativity, but also in essential skills such as teamwork, collaboration, presentation, and performing under pressure. MySTEM Academy has genuinely changed my life. I started with a robotics summer camp between 3rd and 4th grade, eventually making it onto their LEGO robotics team for four years and winning numerous regional awards. Along the way, I kept attending summer camps, learning about fundamental STEM topics, and making lifelong friends.
