It was a good place but the mattress are yellow and stained and covered in tiny little black bugs. We cleared the mattress but I got bug bites all around my wrist and there’s a bump on my finger now and my friend has bug bites all over her back.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The lookout trail is fairly advanced and they're in the middle of some controlled burns that left a lot of leaf litter on the trails. But they were aware and open about everything. Good overall experience for sure. And some gorgeous scenery even in winter.

To the people who run this place, I would like to again thank you for allowing me to climb the mountain. I came here with my mother on 5/29/22, and while it was a very steep climb up to the towers, it was well worth it, and I'd like to thank you for giving me the opportunity! For those who don't know, the cell phone towers on the camp property are the highest point in Randolph County! My only complaint is that there wasn't much of a view as the website indicated, and you certainly can't see Pilot Mountain from it

It is hard to express how much this camp, and it’s staff, have meant to my family the last few years. A few years ago, our oldest son’s first overnight camp experience was smoother (on all of us) then we ever expected! This camp has been a great option for my son and his friends to gather together year-after-year, and spend a week together unplugged, connecting with each other, other campers, counselors - in a positive, safe, and faith-based atmosphere. Our youngest son has eagerly awaited his chance at camp, and it quickly became one of his favorite places on earth. Although our children are very different in personality and needs, the staff have never once made me doubt that they were in the best of hands. Whether you are in the Triad and spend many weeks in the summer at this camp (as we do), or not local to the area and considering sending your son or daughter, I can assure you it is some of the best money our family has ever spent!

Amazing place to send your kids for summer camp or use as a retreat facility. Staff is super friendly and the Director Josh was the best. Inexpensive compared to most camps and very convenient to Charlotte
