Powered by GoogleWe've been members for years. Family friendly environment. Large variety of classes and athletics for the kids. I mainly use the weight room and never feel uncomfortable like I have at other gyms in the past.
Love the variety of options for all ages. A great place to make new friends in fitness classes. Great fitness instructors with class offered all day, including early morning and early evening. A variety of fitness equipment is available any time the Y is open. Has a pool for classes and open swim. Free parking. Building is two stories. While there is no elevator, each level is handicapped accessible from the outside.
I'm new to the YMCA, and I can't rave about it enough. It is truly a place of community where everyone is welcome. There are people of all ages and abilities who come together for health, fitness, and sense of belongings. Everyone is so friendly and you won't see anyone filming their work out for social media. Not a glamorous gym, but they have everything you need and great group classes.
My mom had me at the Y when i was a kid and the Y is an excellent place for safe and healthy fun for children....But I wish there could be something done about the pool situation.....The pool is overwhelmed with way too many kids and it seems they have priority over adults . The retired adult who has worked all their life should have the priority and a schedule that gives more pool time and open swim . Build a pool that is only for adults over a certain age and have a separate pool for all the kids.... It can be done...there is room to build a wing to accommodate a second pool
The staff is always friendly- you are greeted with a smile. This is a big location and they offer a lot of different services. There is even a pool! I like to use the indoor track that is in the gym. There are a lot of sports offered for kids. The summer camp was super awesome for my son. He went to Camp Frontier which is outdoors. They offere activiites, there is a pool, lake, tennis courts, etc. I was so happy he was outside. He had a lot of fun and made friends. I wish I found out about it sooner. I think he will be too old to attend next year. They also offer fitness classes for adults, weight lifter, private coaching. The list goes on! This is a really good YMCA and I definitely recommend it.
