DO NOT RECOMMEND THE CHILDS ART CAMP. Serious lack of communication and basic safety protocols. When I dropped off my son, there were no staff introductions, no explanation of who would be supervising him, and no orientation for parents—just a form to fill out which they did not even reference as they did not even ask for an ID at pick up to verify the person was on my approved pick up list. When I picked him up, he was in tears and clearly distressed. It felt completely disorganized and unprepared to care for young children safely. Also there was no clear lesson plan and my son spent the entire day coloring on a piece of paper with markers in a single room with folding tables. Additionally they keep the room at 80 degrees, my son wad sweating at pick up. I have sent an email twice and left 2 voicemails with no response.

Enjoyed the art in the alley and saw the current exhibition and live music. And had a nice drink at the Handlebar.

Love MDCA! I love teaching there, showing in the gallery, taking classes and my kids loved the art camp.
