The Monroe Boys & Girls Club, part of the nonprofit Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, has served the community since 1981 and runs a full-day summer camp that doubles as summer childcare. Each week has a different theme, with enriching activities, arts and crafts, STEM activities, healthy-lifestyle and physical activities, special guests and a field trip every week. Camp is open to school-age kids in kindergarten through 6th grade, and a limited number of clubs also run a teen camp for middle schoolers. Year-round, the Monroe club offers licensed childcare for grades K-5, a teen room for grades 6-12, and youth sports including NFL flag football, volleyball, soccer and NBA basketball.
