Miss Dicey's School of Dance in Mercersburg, run by Dione Higgins for roughly two decades, teaches tap, jazz, acro, ballet, pointe, lyrical/contemporary, modern, hip hop, KinderClass and boys' tumbling. It also runs Down With Dance, described as the only class in the area offered exclusively to children with Down syndrome. Enrollment is by weekly class; no summer camp program is published.

My daughter is so comfortable there, already, that she says, "bye mom!" And she goes happily skipping off with her new friends. She is learning all kinds of skills there. Tonight she came home doing yoga, which is awesome! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive experience for your child.

His remarks are hurtful to all of those involved in making Miss Dicey's a wonderful studio for kids to grow as a person and a dancer! Miss Dicey works many hours to make her studio as recommendable as it is today! Some opinions are better kept to themselves. I hope he realizes that many people, including our hard-working students, can see his remarks. We have had many students on dance team that have earned national scholarships and some students have earned 2nd overall at nationals. I promise that if you attend Miss Dicey's Dance studio, you will be highly satisfied. She is a wonderful person, and a wonderful dance teacher who pushes her students to strive for the best.
