Bethel Park's municipal Recreation Department runs a summer day camp at the Bethel Park Community Center for children ages 6-12. The full-day program (9 a.m.-4 p.m., with optional drop-off from 7:30 a.m. and pick-up until 5:30 p.m.) is organized into themed week-long sessions featuring arts and crafts, sports, a camp carnival and weekly field trips to places such as the Carnegie Science Center and Pittsburgh Zoo.
