Not only do they get great dance instruction and technique but the teachers are so great and loving and patient that they gain a great sense of confidence as well. We love Mimi’s dance studio! Mimi is a great dance teacher. She knows how to teach young girls and make it fun. I love that Mimi doesn’t focus on making the girls grow up too fast. Her dance classes introduce girls to traditional ballet and dance. When looking for a dance studio for my young daughter, I quickly realized that this isn’t the norm. Going to dance is the highlight of my daughters week. She loves Mimi and her dance class. We are even willing to drive 20 minutes both way each week because we love it that much! Mimi is also great at communicating with parents and keeping us involved.

Our daughter has danced with Mimi’s dance company for four years now. I love that she teaches ballet and also etiquette and terminology and the culture of ballet as well. There is a lot of fun mixed in with the teaching. I have seen already our daughter learning to be graceful when she moves outside of ballet, and am impressed each time they have performances to see the way she (and others) are learning good fundamentals. Mimi is also a great communicator and so lovely with her students.

My child has been a student dancer at Mimi & Me for years and absolutely loves it! She's had several teachers and has loved them all. They are gentle and loving and dedicated to helping the dancer find joy in dance. Mimi is the epitome of beauty and grace, and even her youngest dancers learn from her example greeting their teacher at the start of class and curtseying in gratitude at the end. Classes carefully develop skills and increase in difficulty as the dancer advances. I love that the dancer is taught appropriate terminology along with position and form. You will not regret enrolling your dancer here!

I cannot say enough good things about Miss Mimi. All three of my daughters have taken dance here and we have absolutely loved it. Mimi is kind and loving, yet professional and structured. She not only teaches the girls to dance, but also teaches them manners, poise, grace, and confidence. She has wonderful technique and gives all of her dancers a strong base in ballet, which serves them well even if they end up pursuing other types of dance. All of my kids have loved Miss Mimi and they look forward to class each week. She makes every dancer feel special and important, giving them chances to perform and do small solos of their own creation. Her recitals are the BEST. Each recital is just one class at a time, with the class on stage for about 30 minutes. Plus their own solo! No waiting around for 3 hours to watch your child for 3 minutes. They get uninterrupted time on stage, helping them feel comfortable performing. As far as dance teachers go, Miss Mimi is the best. But more importantly, I love the self esteem and confidence she has taught my children.
