My 10 year old son is also on the competition team and though we just moved to Saginaw, he doesn't want to leave his team behind. We love it there so much we will be making the hour one way drive, three days a week! The owner, staff, and volunteers not only teach dance, they teach responsibility and accountability for ones self. After a while, for example, with the competition team being together so often, they start to get to each other, like siblings. As soon as it's noticed there's a team meeting where they talk it out, say something encouraging, talk about things that are bothering them, etc. The staff is very active in making sure the students are happy, not only in a dance aspect, bit personally as well. The instructors are not afraid to give some tough love, but are always so encouraging and positive. This studio does not only provide technique, they provide character building and a sense of family. I would trust the care and wellbeing of my little ones to these teachers on any given day. Thank you MDC for all you do for these kids, keep up the amazing work!

The dances are very special and chosen for each dancer by skill. There are cool props, colored contacts, and all types of different elements to add to the great choreography that is made by Natasha and her incredible group of staff members. This team is very accepting and open, when I joined the competition team they were very accepting and open to the new members. As soon as I joined, I became a part of the large family in MDC and quite frankly, I am sure I'll never be leaving it at heart. The staff members and everybody around you are so very nice, it makes my day sometimes when I come to the studio and see some of my favorite people in my life. The girls and boys at the studio are like family to me and if you're looking for a new studio, I recommend Michigan Dance Company as the best option for your child. Me for sure would love to have some more members to our ever-growing family.💖
