Metropolitan Performing Arts (MPA) is a nonprofit theater in downtown Vancouver that runs summer acting and musical-theater camps for ages 3-18. Half-day themed acting camps for ages 7-12 cover theater games, acting exercises, crafts and a final performance, and can be combined morning-plus-afternoon with supervised lunch; full-day options include two- and three-week musical-theater intensives staging shows such as Schoolhouse Rock Live and The Addams Family. Also offered are a live-action-role-play wizard camp for ages 11-18 and a 90-minute Minis camp for ages 3-6. Camps run in one- to three-week blocks from July through August with open online registration.

I feel very fortunate that we have found this academy. And best of all our daughter just loves coming! We wouldn't miss it! In a day and age when money is tight, we feel it is money well spent.
