The Media Theatre runs Camp Media Theatre, six two-week day camp sessions for ages 6-15 in singing, acting and dance, meeting Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm with before- and after-care from 9am and until 4:30pm. Sessions come in two formats: Summer Concert Camp, where campers devise a themed revue such as Broadway Bound or Fables and Fairytales, and Summer Performance Camp, where every camper auditions on day one for a staged show such as 101 Dalmatians or Jungle Book. Each session ends in a Friday showcase, and tuition includes a camp T-shirt, pizza party and a discount on fall classes.

Excellent performers Very nice venue Helpful staff A few chatty customers and shout outs from the audience interfered with the experience , but that’s not the fault of the performers. Highly skilled and practiced performers doing what they love for relatively poor pay. I admire their dedication

If you love to see local theatre works this is a wonderful place that supports the arts. They attract a lot of great talent and you’ll see some wonderful shows. I love the interior of the auditorium, it has beautiful wooden walls but with some ornate ceiling decorations. You can get drinks and snacks at the bar here too.

This was a performance of a lifetime. It was amazing. These were fine artists and the explanation of every song helped us to enjoy it even more, These were some talented people and we’re so glad we went and now we’re looking forward to go again. It was amazing!

I recently attended the Candlelight: A Tribute to Coldplay concert at the Media Theatre, and it was truly a magical experience. The venue itself is a local treasure. The historic architecture of the theater provided a grand yet intimate atmosphere that perfectly complemented the evening. Walking into the auditorium to see it filled with thousands of glowing candles was breathtaking—it completely transformed the space into a serene, ethereal escape. The musical performance was top-tier. Hearing Coldplay’s iconic hits like "Yellow" and "Fix You" reimagined with a soulful, jazz-inspired twist was refreshing and brilliantly executed. The acoustics in the theater are excellent, allowing every note of the ensemble to carry beautifully throughout the room. The Media Theatre is the perfect host for these Candlelight events. Between the talented musicians, the stunning visual setup, and the historic charm of Media, PA, it was an unforgettable night. Whether you are a die-hard Coldplay fan or just looking for a unique night out, I cannot recommend this experience enough. I’m already looking forward to the next performance!

we went to a candlelight experience at the media theater Queen vs ABBA, The show itself was fantastic, the candles and the music were lovely, but, the seating area left a little to be desired. we arrived early to get seats on the end, the show was a little bit late to start and a few last-minute arrivals showed up needing three seat seats. since there were two seats next to us open, we were asked to move into the center of the whole section. the whole reason we were there early was to get the seats on the end, it was a bit disappointing to have to move to the center After arriving early to get specific seats in our allotted section.
