Maple Shade Arts Council is a nonprofit arts organization founded in 2012 that runs a four-week summer theatre camp for children ages 8-16 as of the start of camp. Campers cover the basics of theatre - blocking, vocals, choreography, memorization, characterization and etiquette - and the session ends with four performances of an hour-long junior musical. Everyone auditions and all campers are accepted into the program; those joining stage crew must be 12 or older.
