Powered by GoogleMy daughter just started and we are so excited to be apart of this Dance Co. she was a little nervous her first day but all the girls and teacher was so comforting and helpful!
Went to the winter concert this past December and I was impressed with the multi ethnic makeup of the dancers and staff. I will express some concern in regard to the Daddy/Daughter routine. First, let me say, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having pride in your race but, when you are dealing with multiple ethnic backgrounds, an inclusive statement of ALL DADS ROCK would suit better then BLACK DADS ROCK. Although the message was made with good intentions I felt it belittled the non Black DADS in attendance.
My daughters had the BEST experience at the Melodic Movements Majorette camp in Hockessin! The coaches and staff are very kind, welcoming, professional, and such a wonderful representation of confidence and poise. My girls left the experience feeling so proud of themselves and had a ball! Beautiful, clean, radiant studio, as well. Highly recommend!
Both of my daughters attend Melodic Movements and have been for almost a year now. The organization is very family oriented and inclusive. My eldest daughter has a disability and she always feels included and most importantly comfortable and having fun. My youngest daughter enjoys making friends and learning the basic foundation of dance and routine. I enjoy watching them challenge theirselves and learning new techniques. The instructors and staff are friendly and helpful with any accommodations and questions. Melody the owner is always involved and seen - she is present and knows all her dancers! It genuinely is like a big FAMILY and I appreciate that.
My daughter had an amazing experience during the trial class at Melodic Movements! From the moment we arrived, the energy was upbeat and welcoming. The instructor was fantastic—engaging, patient, and made sure my daughter felt comfortable. My daughter couldn’t wait to join after the trial class, and it’s clear why! The class was well-organized, and the kids were encouraged to learn new skills while having fun. I’m so happy I found this program and can’t wait to see my child continue to grow in confidence and ability. Highly recommended for any child interested in majorette!
