My son got married here and it had everything we needed. It was a unique venue but it suited our needs perfectly. Parking can be a little rough, especially when there's a car show (surprise) but everything was great!

McKinney performing arts centre is a theater located in downtown McKinney Square hosting plays and other performances, some featuring local actors. The entire area is a well preserved historic time capsule with most of the buildings being from the 19th century and currently used as local businesses such as barbershops, clothing, shops, souvenir, shops, restaurants, bars, and fashion boutiques. Excellent place to visit. I highly recommend.

Great events take place here. Safe place to take a walk around the block with benches to seat under the shade of nice trees and who knows, you might even get lucky enough to listen to a free song or two by my buddies, Zach and the Anarchist. 🤠 Also, there are very clean restrooms on the lower floor of the East side of the building which are equipped with diaper changing stations.
