Powered by GoogleSheena’s is solid! They teach good technique and it is an environment that is conducive to learning. They are definitely giving kids the tools they need to succeed!
Really bad experience for my daughter’s class. She missed one class and I requested them to have one make over class but they unable to do so . as per facility ,”session is ended now “ even I paid for each class.
Sheena's is amazing. All four of my children dance here- starting with the amazing Showstompers toddler program then into ballet, hip hop and musical theater. The instructors are talented dancers and are so kind and knowledgeable- and so patient with the younger ones! Finding a dance studio seemed like such a daunting task, but Sheena's has been such a perfect fit for us. Excited to be back this year!
My daughter is 2.5 and has been dancing at this studio for just over a month. The teachers a friendly, kind and patient. The front desk staff is also kind and helpful. Most of all, I appreciate that the instructors are masked and students use hand sanitizer. It shows that this studio really cares about the health and well-being of their dancers! Highly, highly recommend Ms. Sheena’s!
My daughter has been dancing at Sheena's for the past 6 years and prior to that she took combo classes offered through the recreation center for about a year. I can't say enough good things about our experiences. My daughter has grown and advanced so much over the last 6 years at the studio and Sheena has taken many personal hours to support, encourage, and teach my daughter so that she is ready to advance to the next levels of her potential. This summer my daughter was accepted into 3 prestigious summer intensive programs across the US thanks to the abilities/technique she has learned through Sheena and the other teachers there. As a parent I can see how others may feel that they need more direct information or would like to watch their children more than through the small windows, but having spent many hours with Sheena and her staff over the years I have never found them unwilling to communicate with me when I took the time to inquire about my child or her progress. The smaller windows in the rooms used by the younger dancers do help cut down on distractions to the kiddos. I know when my daughter was dancing at the rec center it was very hard for them to focus because they could see all the parents through the large windows. Some have complained about things like recital locations and firm dates which are often provided closer to the date than some might prefer. The studio is often at the mercy of the school district confirming location rentals and so they can't provide this information until its firm. I certainly would not want them to tell me a date and location and then have to change that later when schedules/calendars have all been planned around a different date. Its always better to wait until the information is solid until sharing it with parents, especially when they are little and lots of extended family is coming in to watch. I know some have also complained about the seating at the studio. In my opinion this is really small stuff to worry about! The experience is about the kids and not whether the seats are plentiful and comfortable. And our experience has been awesome. I would highly recommend Sheena's for dance training, especially if your child may one day want to be serious about her dancing.
