Twinkle Star Dance Academy in Plano is a fabulous dance studio! Our daughter has been attending here for the last 2 years and she loves everything about it! Her teacher, Miss Lauren, is kind and caring (and super patient!). Elizabeth, the owner, runs the school with thought and intention, and always had the students best interests front and center. They look at parents as partners- providing excellent communication and solid transparency. And the school’s location in Plano can’t be beat! I’m hoping they continue adding older classes so we can stay here and grow with the school!

This was my daughter’s first activity, and overall it’s been a decent experience. The staff is very responsive when I have questions, which I really appreciate. However, I haven’t felt a strong sense of intentional connection with the kids. With so many classes rotating in and out every 30 minutes, it feels like there’s little opportunity for personalization. I don’t know the instructors’ names, and they didn’t introduce themselves when we started. I also get the sense they may not know my daughter’s name, which is disappointing. It’s a nice, well-run establishment, but it does feel more like a large chain (which it is) rather than a close-knit environment. I’d prefer a place where my daughter is known by name and where it feels more like a small, supportive community.

We took of advantage of trialing the class for my daughter who is 5 years old. She was very nervous, but the front receptionist, Kamryn, was warm and welcoming. She patiently waited and chatted with my daughter for over 30 mins to help her warm up and build the courage to go in. Miss Meagan, the instructor, was also so kind and caring. She worked to include her with all of the activities until she warmed up. Following the class, my daughter expressed the joy she felt. We gladly signed up to return weekly! 10/10 recommend!

We absolutely love this dance studio! Everyone is so nice, sweet, and patient with the kids 🩰 The teachers are amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the facility is always clean and very organized!! Communication is great with helpful emails and reminders 📧 From the moment you walk in, the receptionist is always smiling and welcoming 😊 Such a positive, caring environment we highly recommend this studio! Twinkle Star is an absolutely wonderful experience for our five-year-old daughter. She started ballet-jazz classes and has completely fallen in love with it. Her instructor, Meagan Cobb, is truly fantastic. Our daughter is always so eager to go to class and learn more from her.The entire staff at Twinkle Star is lovely. The person at the reception desk is always so kind and welcoming, and the waiting room is a very pleasant place to be. It's great that we can also get some errands done, since the studio is conveniently located next to a Walmart.Overall, we highly recommend Twinkle Star for anyone looking for a positive dance experience for their child.
