The Dance Place, founded and directed by Mary Beth Snow, is Ocean City's largest dance school and offers summer dance camps and intensives as well as a summer class session. Styles taught include ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, hip-hop, contortion and musical theater, for students ranging from a preschooler's first dance class to advanced teens. Now in its 46th season at 618 E 8th St, the studio states that all dancers receive the same dance education and performance opportunities regardless of age or ability. Camp ages and daily hours are posted seasonally rather than on the main site.
