Making Waves is a staple for our kids in Buffalo! We routinely participate in the day off camps and let me tell you, my son loves it! The themes are always so cute and creative. He leaves each and every time with a big smile, so proud of what he’s made. Katie and Amanda are amazing and patient with him and the other children. It’s always a small and intimate group so your child is sure to receive lots of feedback and attention from Katie and Amanda, almost feeling like a one on one session. When our cousins visit from out of town, they make it “cousin bonding time” to go to the arts studio for a drop off session. I would highly recommend Making Waves, especially their day off camps! Worth every penny and more!
Making Waves is such a happy creative space! I’ve given gifts to friends with children and they love them!! I for one love the adult art classes. I’ve known Katie for awhile and she is just the best, incredibly kind and you can tell she loves what she does!! Highly recommend!! For kids of all ages :)
My daughter attended a week long summer camp with the theme “under the sea” at Making Waves Art Studio. She absolutely loved it! Amanda was the art teacher and was so kind and patient with the children. The crafts they made were so wonderful. My daughter came home with a big smile every day! Making Waves fosters wonder, learning and creativity, something that I believe is the most important aspect of childhood.
Update March 2024 - My 5yo son just finished a 5-session art class at Making Waves and he absolutely loved it! This was his first "drop-off" type class and he was nervous at the beginning, but he had so much fun that he jumped right in at the beginning of the second class. He's already asking me when he can do it again, so I'm looking forward to signing him up for another class series soon. ------- My husband and I went to an ice dyeing class with Katie from Goldy Way at Making Waves - such a fun date night! The space is beautiful and we had fun learning something new and being creative. My son would love the kids art programs, I can't wait to bring him in soon.
