Powered by GoogleOur son loves taking piano lessons at Magnolia, such a lovely spot with great instructors and people. It's wonderful, a great place to get your kid into music. Our family looks forward to continuing to be part of the Magnolia community!
Magnolia Music School has been such a wonderful experience for our family. My 8-year-old daughter has been taking group ukulele lessons with Sara for the past four months, and the growth we've seen in such a short time has been incredible. Sara is an exceptional teacher -- patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at working with kids in a way that builds both confidence and joy. My daughter is now so inspired that she's ready to move into private 1:1 lessons starting January 2026, which says everything about how positive and motivating this experience has been. Magnolia truly feels like a special place. There's a strong sense of community, creativity, and care that comes through in everything they do. We feel very grateful to be part of it and so thankful to have both Sara and Kat in my daughter's life. I'm beyond excited to see how she continues to grow and thrive next year. Highly recommend Magnolia Music School to any family looking for thoughtful, high-quality music education in a warm and supportive environment.
This is one of the best most inclusive music schools I’ve ever encountered. Kat and her team are amazing with kids. No matter the level, they manage to bring the best out of them, encouraging them to take changes and try new things, and be everything they can be. Most importantly they are fantastic music instructors, teaching skills these kids will take forward throughout their lives. I highly recommend this school for kids who want a less structured more relaxed and fun version of learning to play and sing their favorite music.
We have had the very best first year at Magnolia Music School! Our 7 year old daughter sings with the Warblers Choir and our 13 year old daughter takes guitar and songwriting with Kat. Both have been incredible experiences that my daughters love - they even get to play/sing together sometimes. Kat and Sara Jayne are kind, talented teachers with a passion for what they do - and they make music so much fun! We are so very lucky to be a part of this amazing community that has been grown at Magnolia.
My daughter had developed a solid connection to music, playing music, enjoying music, etc which I credit to Kat and Magnolia Music School. All of her teachers have been great and she always enjoys going. I’m so happy we’ve found a great music school (and community) to further her creativity as she enters these formative years of her life!
