This is going to be long because not many people can attest to what I have witnessed in seven seasons... When my daughter started cheering, I thought she would never start tumbling or that she would never excel because she was shy. Don't get me wrong, we LOVED our old gym but like many large gyms, things move fast and not everyone keeps up with that type of pace successfully. The moment Kylie Ford and Magnolia Athletic Company arrived on the scene everything changed for my daughter. My daughter has been with Kylie 10 years. Three years under the previous brand and then we followed her over to Magnolia. My child went from a shy and isolative little girl to a three time medalist at WORLDS including back to back world champion. Kylie and Charlie (Tumbling Director) method is so precise and efficient that four of the five teams that received elite team bids to worlds placed top three in the world. You cant beat the smiles on those faces... The coaches (Lauren, Alex, Miranda, Paige) are Phenomenal. The tumbling instructors Caidy and Malia are superior (in my opinion) working with cheerleaders including the babies. We dont have drama like other Gyms. MAC mommas are built different and would NEVER allow it to transpire. We like to be comfortable and relax, free from drama and stress. We get enough of that being mom. Many of us just do work in the parent room while our children practice. I cheered from Middle School through college, I have coached school cheer (JH and HS), and I have coached All Star. I've won awards and I have produced champion level cheerleaders and I have ZERO issues with stating that Magnolias expertise and techniques is probably the best I have ever seen. Most gyms don't spend the time ensuring proper technique and safety. Instead they stack teams and throw skills many aren't waiting for. Kylie takes her time and explains her process to make sure everyone understands and sees the reward in the end. It may not happen overnight but when it does, it is something to see!
